Soon after becoming a professional surfer in 1985, I
designed a logo for my new Hart’s surfboard model. I was not given the gift of evangelism,
but I could express my faith through art and design. Therefore, the logo needed to have a Christian
theme. The center of the logo was the “Alpha and Omega” symbol which is the sign of Christ, “The Beginning and The End”. And, my
name would revolve around him.
